You would be surprised how many times i get asked this. The number of factors that influence your site listing on Google can be quite a lot.

The main ones i take into account are:

• How long has your site been live?
• How long has the domain been registered for?
• Has your site been submitted to search engines for crawling?
• Does your site have a sitemap and has it been submitted to Google?
• Is your sites url listed anywhere or linked from another site?
• Has your site been optimised (seo) and correct use of tags been used?

If your answers to the above are:

• 1 week
• 2 weeks
• no
• no
• no
• eh?

Well then its going to be a very long, long time before your site gets listed and even then in the top 20 pages of Google.
